Google Assistant Now Has a Male Voice Option. Here’s How to Enable It.

I don’t know which of the genders would like this new update, but Google has quietly added a robotic male voice to its Google assistant. Henceforth, you can now choose between the male (Voice II) or the female voice (Voice 1) option. To do this, head over to Open the Google Assistant app by long pressing the home button. Tap on the three-dot menu button and open Settings Open Preferences and then Assistant Voice. Switch from Voice I (female) to Voice II (male). If you don’t see it yet, try updating your Google app.

WhatsApp Now Has Its Own Emoji Set

Ever since Facebook acquired this instant messaging app, it has been update upon updates, here and there. Now, Whatsapp will soon release a new emoji set to all users, as the feature is currently being tested on WhatsApp beta. WhatsApp before and after emoji set Before now, WhatsApp has always used iOS' emoji designs and fonts in all of its apps. Whether you're on iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Symbian, or desktop, you would see the same emojis independent of your device's built-in emojis. WhatsApp has made a cool move by introducing its own emojis, yes though, they look similar to that of iOS and Android Oreo. The eyes and mouths of the smileys makes the differences, while the animal emoji are all facing different direction. This new emojis update is available for its latest Android beta v2.17.364. Another addition is the support for Emoji 5.0, the latest version approved by Unicode and it includes fantasy emojis.
